Debut horror film through KUASA GELAP, Lea Ciarachel admitted experiencing difficulties because of the character she played.
Met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta on Monday (5/2), Lea said, "I'm playing a new character, so I have to learn a lot. The reading process took quite a long time, about a month. When I got home, I read it again because I want to give my best."
"I'm excited and feel challenged even though it's a bit difficult because it's very different from before. I also watched some references to imagine," she added.
Lea Ciarachel experienced something strange during the reading process for the film KUASA GELAP. She had sleep paralysis but tried to think positively about the experience.
"Because of the long reading sessions, I used to be very brave, but now I feel like there's a horror incident happening even though it never happened before. Like yesterday, I experienced sleep paralysis maybe because it got to me," said Lea.
She added, "It never happened before. But I try to think positively, maybe I'm just exhausted."
In the film KUASA GELAP directed by Bobby Prasetyo, Lea Ciarachel acts alongside Freya JKT48. Due to their similarities, the seventeen-year-old girl claimed that she didn't have difficulty building chemistry.
"I started reading with Freya and we clicked right away. Maybe because we're the same age and our jokes are in sync, we also speak in a similar way because kids nowadays talk like that. So I don't need to take a long time to build chemistry with her," he concluded.
