Kapanlagi.com - Since it went viral on Twitter, the story of KKN DI DESA PENARI written by a user named Simpleman has been sought after by several production houses to be made into a feature film. In the end, MD Pictures won the rights to the story.
After obtaining the rights from Simpleman, Manoj quickly assembled a team to work on this highly anticipated horror film. Surprisingly, the entire process went by quickly.
"When it went viral on Twitter, my team had already heard about it and apparently it was already being pursued. Finally, we convinced Simpleman, he didn't know it would become this big. MD already knew that we were serious about this. Thank God MD got it. We worked quickly, the script was finished in a few months. And I can see that there is already material, so it's easy," said Manoj in an exclusive interview with KapanLagi.com recently.

As we know, until now Simpleman, the creator of the thread story KKN DI DESA PENARI, is a mysterious figure. No one knows his real identity or where the location of the real incident he told about.
So the question is, how involved was Simpleman in the production process of the movie KKN DI DESA PENARI?
"I always believe that the writer of the book, the original writer, should not be too involved, because it will be biased. And Simpleman also left it to MD, because he knows that when it comes to making a film, it's a different expertise. So our interaction is quite healthy and he's not involved in things like it has to be this or that," continued Manoj.
