This statement by Norma responds to a tweet from Hilmi Firdausi, a cleric who highlights the growing phenomenon of infidelity-themed films in Indonesia. Through his personal X account, Hilmi expressed his confusion regarding this trend.

"After the viral film about infidelity with a sister-in-law, now there is a film about infidelity between in-laws and their children-in-law," wrote Hilmi Firdausi as quoted from the X account @Hilmi28, Thursday (13/3/2025).

Not only that, Hilmi also questioned whether the prevalence of films with such themes reflects the social reality of society today, which is considered to be increasingly distant from norms.

"Why are infidelity-themed films within families becoming more rampant? Is this a reflection of our social life that is becoming more chaotic?" he continued.

In fact, in his tweet, Hilmi mentioned that this could be a sign that the end times are near. "Truly, the end times are getting closer. Wal’iyadzubillah," he said.
