Play the Role of Badarawuhi in 'KKN DESA PENARI', Aulia Sarah Had Trouble Peeing During Shooting

"Yes, it's true, when I saw it, the ghost was a bit different, not scary. But from the reading process, I tried to design the character of Badarawuhi, how she could be scary. She is mysterious, powerful among all the supernatural creatures in the village. It doesn't have to be an effort to make my face look scary, I just built it from my own mindset, if I were mysterious, most powerful, most feared," said Aulia when talking with KapanLagi.com not long ago.

1. Badarawuhi's Costume Makes It Hard to Pee

For those of you who don't know, the ghost of Badarawuhi is quite different from the ghosts in other horror movies. Even her costume can be considered quite eccentric. And Aulia also had her own unique experience related to Badarawuhi's costume.

"No, it's not heavy (the costume), but it's layered, it's suffocating. And it's hard to pee while wearing it. So if you wear that costume, it's like fasting from drinking, fasting from eating because you have to think about going to the toilet," she explained while laughing.

Aulia herself did not want to play a character without any knowledge. When she was confirmed to play Badarawuhi, she immediately rushed to do various research in order to get to know the ghost dancer character better.

"I've done a lot of research, I've even looked into social media, read books, looked at references from foreign films, what kind of dominant, powerful female character. I've researched everything. Actually, this character already has a pattern, but I have to have my own version of development. In Indonesia, this character reminds me of the Queen of the South Beach," she concluded.
