Possessed During the Filming of 'MAJU SEREM MUNDUR HOROR', Sara Fajira Suddenly Cries & Shares in Javanese with Her Husband

Filming horror movies is often accompanied by mystical events that send shivers down your spine. This unforgettable experience was recently encountered by actress and singer Sara Fajira while shooting her latest film, MAJU SEREM MUNDUR HOROR.

The unexpected incident took place at a filming location known to be haunted, specifically near a large banyan tree. Sara admitted to feeling an unusual atmosphere from the start.

"I can't see it, I just feel it. The place is really creepy," said Sara Fajira in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta, Monday (20/10/2025).

The tense atmosphere became more intense as Sara was getting ready with full makeup as the character of a kuntilanak. In the midst of the pouring rain, she suspected that her appearance was attracting the attention of the local 'guardian'.

"Yeah, that's right (possessed). So that time it was raining while I was dressing up as a kuntilanak, maybe the guardian said 'hey friend' or something," Sara said with a small laugh.

At first, she only felt chills, but suddenly Sara's condition changed drastically. She lost consciousness and started crying hysterically. Uniquely, in that possessed state, she actually 'vented' to her husband using Javanese language.

"I cried and ended up venting to my husband. 'With my husband, I was engaged in conversation, the possession was in Javanese,' she said."

Fortunately, the husband who was on location quickly calmed Sara down and eventually succeeded in bringing her back to consciousness. After regaining consciousness, Sara admitted that she didn't remember anything and felt like she had just woken up from a deep sleep, even though the incident occurred in the middle of the day.

"I was healed by my husband, it felt like just sleeping, even though it was broad daylight," she revealed.

Although it caused panic among the crew, this experience did not make Sara give up on making horror films. The film MAJU SEREM MUNDUR HOROR tells the story of a group of students trying to make a horror film, but they end up trapped in a real mystical terror.
