Giorgino, who is not a follower of Islam, was a bit surprised when learning to pray. He had to master the movements and the pronunciation of the prayers in the prayer ritual.

"In real life, Giorgino is not a Muslim man. I am Christian. To play the role of a Muslim man and I haven't mastered how to pray, how to pronounce, the intonation and all that. It has to have a tone, you know. I just found out that there is a tone and the tone is different for each movement," he said.

To portray a character who is 'Muslim by birth', Giorgino made extra efforts so that his movements and prayers did not appear stiff to the audience.

"The way to pray, in prayer our feet have to be bent back, and the toes have to touch the ground. That is difficult, you know. For someone who is not used to it, it's a struggle, you know. So how, then? And I have to show the audience that I have been a Muslim for a long time, since birth. But if my worship still looks stiff, it's not funny," he continued.

To address this, Giorgino practiced 'prayer exercises' repetitively so that his acting would appear more natural.

"Actually it's simple, but I'm lucky enough to be sensitive enough to differentiate how natural his sitting position is, how he performs the prayer, and I am indeed stiff, like that. It really requires repetitive practice," he expressed again.
