Prosecutor: Due to Threats from Nikita Mirzani, Reza Gladys Ended Up in the Hospital & to a Psychiatrist

A new chapter in the feud between Nikita Mirzani and beauty doctor Reza Gladys was presented again at the South Jakarta District Court. In the continuation of the hearing held on Monday (20/10/2025), the Public Prosecutor (JPU) uncovered the psychological impact experienced by Reza Gladys due to alleged threats from Nikita Mirzani.

The agenda for this hearing was the reading of the rebuttal, which is the prosecutor's response to the defense note (plea) that had been submitted by Nikita in the previous session. In its rebuttal, the JPU revealed that Reza Gladys had experienced very severe mental pressure.

"That with the spirit of cultivating a love for reading, we, the public prosecutors, invite the defendant Nikita Mirzani to read the response to the public prosecutor's exception again," said the prosecutor in the courtroom.

Not stopping there, the prosecutor also accused that the arguments presented by Nikita in her defense were nothing more than a fabrication aimed at misleading the trial. According to the prosecutor, Nikita has run out of ideas to refute the charges.

"That the defendant Nikita Mirzani has no more ideas to refute the charges and demands from the advisors and public prosecutors with convincing evidence, thus merely fabricating arguments with the aim of misleading the trial," said the prosecutor.

The prosecutor firmly denied the alleged changes to the articles as claimed by Nikita. He explained that the prosecutor has full authority as the controller of the case, known as the principle of dominus litis. This authority, according to the prosecutor, gives him the right to amend the indictment before the trial begins.

"This principle emphasizes that the prosecutor has control over the course of a case, from the investigation stage to the trial," explained the prosecutor.

The lengthy explanation regarding the prosecutor's authority was deliberately conveyed so that Nikita would no longer think that there was "smuggling of articles" in his case.

"The defendant may also not be surprised or confused by the changes in articles under the authority of the public prosecutor and should not think, based on feelings or intuitively, that this is a smuggling of articles," said the prosecutor.

As is known, Nikita Mirzani is currently facing charges as a defendant based on a report by Reza Gladys. She is facing an 11-year prison sentence and a fine of Rp 2 billion.

With this sharp rebuttal, the prosecutor seems to want to emphasize that all of Nikita's defense arguments lack a strong legal basis. Now, all eyes are on the duplicative phase, where Nikita's side will provide its final answer.
