The film FUTURE HOUSE is an adaptation of the 1984 television series created by Ali Shahab and directed by Danial Rifki. The film, which will be released on December 7, 2023, features a performance by Fedi Nuril and Laura Besuki. 
 
"I am glad to be involved in this film because the story is interesting and relevant to the lives of Indonesian people. The conflict between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law is a common conflict in families. Don't worry, I am not practicing polygamy here," said Ferdi Nuril during a press conference on Sunday, December 3, 2023. 
 
The film trailer for FUTURE HOUSE has been released on November 9, 2023, through the official YouTube account of Max Pictures. Millennials are surely excited about the release of this film because they can reminisce about the popular TV shows of the 80s. It showcases a rural atmosphere with a simple way of life, wooden furniture design ornaments, and antique cars.

The latest adaptation film by Max Pictures and Mizan Pictures is ready to greet fans of the big screen, bringing a message of warmth and harmony in the family. In addition, this film will also bring back the atmosphere of the legendary television series that was popular in the 80s.

The film RUMAH MASA DEPAN tells the story of a married couple named Sukri and Surti who are going back to their hometown. The story revolves around the conflict between the son-in-law and the mother-in-law who are not in good terms and is expected to create an emotional connection with the audience.

Fedi Nuril and Laura Basuki have previously worked on the same film project, namely the film D.O.A. The film RUMAH MASA DEPAN will bring Fedi and Laura together as a married couple. In addition to the film RUMAH MASA DEPAN and D.O.A, they are also reunited in the film KAPAN HAMIL which will be released on OTT Prime Video.

In the previous film project, Fedi Nuril was known as an actor who often played the role of a religious man liked by many women, to the point where he had no other choice but to practice polygamy. But in this film, Fedi Nuril will not portray such a character.

This film took 4 years to produce. The story was written in 2019, and the shooting process began in 2020. Despite the ongoing pandemic, it did not stop the production of this film. Fortunately, everything went smoothly and the film was successfully released to the public in 2023.

This film was selected as a Surprise Movie at the Jakarta Film Week. Jakarta Film Week is one of the exciting film festivals with many enthusiasts. In one of its segments, Surprise Movie, the audience buys tickets without knowing which film will be screened. It turns out that many viewers were satisfied with the collaboration between Max Pictures and Mizan in this film.

The selection of this location is based on a story that revolves around a married couple returning to their hometown, so it is appropriate to set it in a rural area.
