Spooky Experience of Endy Arfian, Witnessing Possessed Film Crew

Kapanlagi.com - Endy Arfian became the main actor in the horror movie SURAT DARI KEMATIAN directed by Hestu Saputra. The film is adapted from a novel of the same title by Adham T Fusama that was previously popular on the Wattpad writing platform.

Although the story presented is fiction, the shooting location is truly surrounded by a mystical aura. Endy had a spooky experience during the shooting at the abandoned Gama Plaza building.

"We shot at Gama Plaza on the third floor for three days. From the outside, I already had a feeling that this building has its own guardian. And it turned out to be true, on the second day, a crew member suddenly fell and started screaming," said Endy quoted from a WhatsApp message received by KapanLagi.com.

"Then other crew members came to help. Because I was scared, I just watched from a distance. I heard the possessed crew member speaking in Javanese. But I didn't understand the meaning, because it was a very refined Javanese language," added the child actor who is now growing up.

1. Not Fond of Being Disturbed

Before the shooting began, a prayer event was held to ensure smooth filming and no disruptions. However, it seems that the occupants of the building located in the Gajah Mada University area were not willing to tolerate it.

"Gama Plaza building has many occupants. Even though we had permission and prayed, there were occupants there who didn't like it and felt disturbed. This was conveyed by an occupant of Gama Plaza who was disturbed by entering the crew's body. That's what shocked me during the filming of this movie," said Endy.

SURAT DARI KEMATIAN will be released in cinemas throughout Indonesia starting January 9, 2020. This horror film, produced by MAX Pictures, also stars Carissa Perusset, Dannia Salsabilla, Omara Esteghlal, and Jerome Kurnia.
