KapanLagi had the opportunity for an exclusive interview via Zoom with Suryana Paramita on Tuesday (29/7) last week. The woman commonly known as Mita sat as the producer of the film SORE: WIFE FROM THE FUTURE.

Mita mentioned that one of the biggest challenges of this film is its location being overseas. "Of course, when we produce almost the entire film, it can be said that about 90% of the film is produced not in Indonesia," she said.

"The biggest challenge is how we can ensure that the production runs smoothly and well. It requires research, and we need to understand the work culture first, whether it is similar or not," Mita added.

Furthermore, Mita mentioned that the choice to shoot abroad brings its own consequences, one of which is the number of crew members that can be brought.

"We can't bring that many crew members. In Indonesia, there could be hundreds of crew, but when we arrived in Croatia, we only had 30 people," she explained.

"The team is very small, and so is their workspace. We try to maximize how these 30 people work while still maintaining a humane scheme, with healthy working hours," added Mita.

Mita acknowledged that due to the limited team, they have to work in overlapping roles. The desire to carry out the shooting to the fullest while still being healthy has finally come true.
