The poster and trailer were also uploaded through the official YouTube and Instagram accounts of Visinema Pictures, showcasing the terror that will fill the life of the main character, who appears wearing a hijab with a terrifying face and a mysterious figure behind her. The series of pocong (Indonesian ghost) in the poster adds to the horror sensation even if it’s just through the visual of the poster.

This first horror film directed by Farishad I. Latjuba tells the story of a character named Farah, a female student played by Febby Rastanty, who lives a seemingly blessed household life. Along with her husband, Wahab, portrayed by Oka Antara, Farah experiences happiness that feels almost perfect. However, behind this happiness lies a dark secret that slowly destroys Farah's soul.

The scriptwriter, Lele Laila, revealed that the inspiration for the story of the film WOMAN EXPERT OF HELL came when she saw various video content on social media explaining that there are more women in hell due to their disbelief towards their husbands. She also mentioned that there is one hadith that was used as literature for writing the story.
"Actually, it has been in my mind several times because every time I scroll through videos on social media, there are several contents, and I found many contents about women in hell. There is also one hadith that explains why the Prophet Muhammad said that there are more women in hell because of their disbelief towards their husbands," explained Lele Laila.
"But at the same time, that content appeared alongside other content, where there are many women who are powerless in their households facing violence or meeting the wrong men in their lives. So then I asked, what if there is a woman who wants to get married to attain heaven, but ends up marrying a 'resident of hell'? From there, the idea for the film WOMAN EXPERT OF HELL began," she continued.

The film WOMAN EXPERT IN HELL marks the first horror film debut for Febby Rastanty, who is widely known as a talented actress in the Indonesian film industry. In this film, Febby plays the role of Farah, a female student who is trapped in a seemingly happy marriage, but harbors darkness that threatens her soul. For Febby, this is a very challenging role that forces her out of the image of the gentle woman she often portrays on the big screen.
"I feel like I stepped into Farah's world, a world full of hope, but also filled with fear. I had to delve into incredibly complex emotions. This character is very human, and I hope the audience can feel the inner turmoil that Farah experiences," said Febby Rastanty with deep emotion.
