Teaser Trailer for the Film 'RACUN SANGGA' Released with a Display of Chilling Terror, Ready to Premiere in December 2024

The character Andi, played by Fahad Haydra, is seen waking up from sleep and starting to act irrationally. One of the most shocking scenes shows Andi grating his own hand with a carrot grater until it bleeds. 

This film is directed by Rizal Mantovani, known for his quality horror works. Rizal depicts how the couple becomes trapped in inner and physical conflict as their medical efforts yield no results. 

They eventually seek a solution through supernatural means, but the terror deepens when Andi begins to vomit blood and feels desperate. The teaser uploaded via Instagram @sorayaintercinefilms immediately garnered a variety of responses from netizens.

"It hurts to see the grater," wrote the account @universe****, while the account @fadil**** added, "I can't wait for December to watch this, it must be really exciting."

This film is based on a true story about a dangerous black magic from Kalimantan called Racun Sangga, which is believed to be a deadly dark art that will not stop until it takes the life of its victim. The previous teaser video even featured a narration from the original victim.   “The magic was inserted into my body like a supernatural knot. The knot was meant to summon the wicked jinn that made me sick. I was like food for them,” revealed the victim whose name was concealed.

Maya, a character in the film, mentioned that the magic was sent by someone who felt heartbroken over her marriage to Andi.   “They say someone is heartbroken over our marriage. To this day we are still experiencing it and in the process of recovery,” she explained.

With a thrilling story and a chilling horror atmosphere, this film is predicted to be one of the most anticipated shows at the end of the year.   “Initially, I asked about the scene of grating the hand with a carrot grater, and it turns out that it was really done by the real Andi.
