Yasmin Napper Amazed by Shooting in China, 'ASSALAMUALAIKUM BEIJING 2' Presents the Beauty of Ningxia

Yasmin Napper once again captures attention as the lead actress in the film ASSALAMUALAIKUM BEIJING 2: LOST IN NINGXIA, a sequel to the popular story by Asma Nadia. Directed by Guntur Soeharjanto, this film follows the journey of the character Aisa to China in pursuit of her love. The shooting process took a full month in two major cities, Beijing and Ningxia, showcasing the beautiful landscapes that are the main attraction of this film.

Yasmin admitted to being both excited and nervous watching the first trailer of her film. Although she was a bit anxious, she enjoyed her experience shooting in the extreme temperatures reaching -4 degrees Celsius. For her, the natural beauty of Ningxia was an incredible surprise and added a unique touch to this film. With its enchanting visuals, this religious drama is scheduled to be released in Indonesian cinemas starting June 19, 2025.

Yasmin Napper plays the main character, Aisa, in ASSALAMUALAIKUM BEIJING 2, a young woman who pursues her love all the way to China. This young actress was previously known through the series LOVE STORY THE SERIES.

The exotic Ningxia serves as the main filming location for this movie. Yasmin admitted to being very impressed by the unexpected beauty of its landscapes.

Filming in extreme weather, Yasmin remained professional. Yasmin revealed that she had to shoot in temperatures as low as -4°C. Despite the cold, she stated that she greatly enjoyed the experience.

Directed by Guntur Soeharjanto, this film highlights the visual beauty of China's nature as its main attraction.

This filming experience marks Yasmin's first step in the Land of the Bamboo Curtain and immediately presents the stunning natural beauty that pleases the eyes.

Besides Yasmin, this film also stars Baskara Mahendra, Ria Ricis, Emir Mahira, and Gabriella Ekaputri.

ASSALAMUALAIKUM BEIJING 2: LOST IN NINGXIA will greet audiences in theaters on June 19, promising an emotional love story and breathtaking panoramas.
