"I’m nervous waiting for the first day of shooting. I’m grateful that today I still have the opportunity for a big reading with my friends," said the 34-year-old actor, met in the Pejaten area of South Jakarta, Tuesday (4/3).
This is Marcell Darwin's first experience acting in a religious drama film. It is known that Marcell embraced Catholicism before converting to Islam in 2020. The character Farid is said to present a unique challenge for him.

"I can’t share much yet. The point is this film is about Farid who gets a second chance and repents," continued the husband of Nabila Faisal Darwin.

Before shooting, Marcell Darwin has been preparing for three weeks prior. One of the preparations includes studying and delving into the character Farid, as desired by the director.
"I researched what this character Farid is like, of course with the help of the production team. The most challenging part is the change in feelings, the change in character, from being okay, to falling apart, to being okay again, to falling apart again, so it's really up and down," he said.
2. Starring Several Famous Actors
The shooting process for the film IN MY PROSTRATION is planned to take place in Jakarta, Bandung, and Garut. In addition to Marcell Darwin, this film produced by Project 69 (a production house from Indonesia and Singapore) also involves several other actors, such as Vinessa Inez, Aldo Irawan Putra Chika Waode, Dominique Sanda, Naura Hakim Riyuka Bunga, and Dennis Adishwara.
