On (19/6/2023), Netflix officially released the teaser trailer for ONE PIECE LIVE ACTION on their social media. ONE PIECE LIVE ACTION is an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's manga ONE PIECE. However, this live action version does not directly adapt the manga, but rather makes adjustments to some characters to make them appear more realistic.

In ONE PIECE LIVE ACTION, there are five main characters, namely Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. These five characters are played by famous actors and actresses, namely Inaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar. Mackenyu is the only main character in this live action series who has Japanese heritage.
