One Piece, a popular manga and anime series that is one of Eiichiro Oda's works, is now available in live-action version. This series will premiere on the Netflix platform on August 31, 2023.

The first season of the One Piece Live Action series is rumored to contain 8 episodes produced by Tomorrow Studios. Eiichiro Oda, the creator, will act as executive producer and collaborate with Steven Maeda and Becky Clements.

In its teaser, the live-action adaptation of the One Piece  manga shows some of its main characters who are members of the Straw Hat Pirates crew. Let's check out the list, KLovers!

1. Inaki Godoy - Monkey D. Luffy

Inaki Godoy is currently being talked about because he has been chosen as the main actor in the One Piece Live Action series. Inaki Godoy is a Mexican actor born on August 25, 2003. Before starring in One Piece Live Action, Inaki was involved in several films, including The Imperfects (2022), Who Killed Sara (2021), and Go Youth! (2020).

Inaki is known as a talented young actor. He took courses in Hollywood Stunt Drama and Theatre Summer Specialty. In addition to his talent in the film industry, Inaki also hones his other talents, such as dancing and singing. He even studied at Stage Company to develop his talents.

2. Mackenyu – Roronoa Zoro

Mackenyu Arata is a Japanese actor born in Los Angeles, America on November 16, 1996. He is the son of Sonny Chiba, an actor, producer, director, and Japanese martial artist.

Mackenyu has starred in several live-action films, including in the movie Rurouni Kenshin, Chihayafuru in 2016. This person, who is familiarly called Chiba, also apparently has a special interest in anime/manga. Knowing that the character of Zoro that he played is one of the favorite anime fans, he admitted to being very enthusiastic.

3. Jacob Gibson – Usopp

The actor who plays Usopp in the One Piece Live Action series is Jacob Romero Gibson. Jacob is a young actor from California, America. This 26-year-old actor began his career in the entertainment world in 2016. Jacob Gibson studied at the California Institute of The Arts and majored in acting.

During his career, Jacob Gibson has appeared in several musicals and drama series, one of which is The Resident (2018). In addition to being talented in acting, he also has talents in music, singing, and voice acting. 

4. Emily Rudd – Nami

Emily Rudd is a beautiful and talented actress who will play the role of Nami in the One Piece Live Action. The actress, born in Minnesota, USA, started her career in entertainment in 2017 in the film Sea Change. 

Emily has loved acting since she was a child. She even participated in theater and drama performances at her school. Before becoming an actress, she was a music video model, including in the music video for Let Me Love You by Justin Bieber and DJ Snake. 

5. Taz Skylar – Sanji

Taz Skylar, who plays Sanji in the One Piece Live Action, is an actor of Arab-English mixed blood. He was born in Spain on December 5, 1995. Taz began his career as a scriptwriter and actor in a theater. One of the works written and starred by Taz is Miles in Warheads and The Reserves.

After his debut in theater, he starred in several feature films, including Boiling Point and Lie Low. He has won several awards during his career journey, including the People's Choice Award for Best Film at the Indie Flick Short Film Festival.
