As the title suggests, 'Arrival' is not a typical arrival. Aliens suddenly appear in 12 different locations around the world, with Montana being one of the places where they land. Unlike other alien stories that involve invasion, Denis takes a different approach in this film by focusing on how they communicate and the language used by the aliens.
The story has a non-linear narrative and is slightly confusing at the beginning. Not only the narrative, but the language used by the aliens is also quite unique, leaving the audience puzzled. Only Louise Banks (Amy Adams), a linguistics expert, can understand their language. Additionally, there is a dramatic scene where Louise uses a whiteboard with the word 'HUMAN' written on it to communicate with the aliens.

This film is a must-watch sci-fi! BLADE RUNNER 2049 is a continuation of the first BLADE RUNNER released in 1982. It is far enough to create a sequel with a gap of approximately 3 decades. However, Denis makes the story appear epic by bringing in several veteran characters to rebuild this story with a new version.
It tells the story of technological advancements, where humans coexist with artificial humans or replicants. Like two sides of a coin, technological progress also has its good and bad impacts. This story is packed with theories and drama.
