This film is one of the most anticipated projects of 2025, especially since it is once again directed by legendary director James Cameron. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19, 2025, almost 3 years after its sequel, AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER, which was a massive box office success.

The duration of this latest film sets a new record at 3 hours and 15 minutes. This duration is only 3 minutes longer than THE WAY OF WATER, which is 3 hours and 12 minutes long, but it is enough to make it the longest film in the AVATAR universe.
