Warner Bros Pictures has released the official teaser trailer for THE WATCHERS, the latest horror film written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan. The film, which tells the story of a group of people trapped and stalked in a forest in Ireland, will premiere in theaters in June 2024.

This film stars Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ocean's Eight), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian, Suspicion), Oliver Finnegan (Creeped Out, Outlander), and Olwen Fouere (The Northman, The Tourist). The film is written and directed by Ishana Shyamalan and produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, and Nimitt Mankad.

THE WATCHERS tells the story of a young artist named Mina, played by Dakota Fanning, who is stranded in the Irish forest. Trapped with 3 strange individuals, Mina strangely feels constantly watched by something after meeting them.

The film is adapted from a novel by AM Shine with the same title. He is interested in the classic horror story inspired by the trinity of horror, history, and superstition.

After Mina's car breaks down, she is forced to walk to seek help. As she walks through the forest and darkness begins to envelop, a strange woman screams at her, urging her to quickly enter the nearby concrete bunker.

Terrifying underground creatures emerge from the depths of the forest after the sun disappears and begin observing the people trapped inside the bunker.

Mina doesn't know what The Watchers want from them, or worse, what will happen if someone can't get into the bunker before nightfall.

If Mina manages to escape, will she be able to get out of the forest before nightfall? This novel is described as a combination of Cabin In The Woods and Lost, so the story seems to be in good hands with Ishana writing the screenplay.

Ishana Night Shyamalan will make her directorial debut with The Watchers, after previously collaborating with her father on the Servant series.

The film is scheduled to be released on June 5, 2024, while in North America on June 7, 2024. The film will be produced by Warner Bros Pictures. Klovers can't wait to watch it!
