Director Destin Daniel Cretton Trusted to Direct SPIDERMAN 4, Previously Successfully Directed SHANG-CHI

SPIDER-MAN 4 is real. This film project, created in collaboration with Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, will soon enter the shooting process in early 2025. The last time we saw Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, he had to lose 2 of his best friends who, due to magical effects, lost their memories. 

SPIDER-MAN NO WAY OUT successfully closed the trilogy while opening the door for the possibility of a new trilogy. Voila, the response is positive. Both Disney Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have agreed to work on the fourth film of this Spider-Man version featuring Tom Holland. 

From the first three films, HOMECOMING, FAR FROM HOME, to NO WAY HOME, the character Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is portrayed as maturing. He, who was initially depicted as an awkward and super energetic teenager, transforms into a more mature figure. 

In the movie SPIDER-MAN 4, Disney Marvel and Sony Pictures have entrusted Destin Daniel Cretton as the director. The director, who successfully helmed SHANG-CHI, is believed to be capable of bringing the dynamic story of Spider-Man to the big screen. 

In the hands of Destin Daniel, Shang-Chi can balance fantastic superhero action with relatable family drama. The father-son and sibling relationships are injected as the lifeblood of the story. 

The collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures in the SPIDER-MAN films has proven to be effective. Both from a commercial perspective and from the reception of audiences and critics. One of the unique selling points used is by weaving a collaborative story between Spider-Man and well-known MCU characters.  

For example, in SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME, there is the character Doctor Strange who is already popular in the Avengers. The combination of the two not only presents an interesting story but also becomes a magnet for fans of the superhero genre.
