Emily Hampshire Becomes E.D.I.T.H., Vision & Ultron Ready to Fight Again in the Marvel Series 'VISION'

Kapanlagi.com - Emily Hampshire, an actress known for her role in SCHITT’S CREEK, has officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the latest series titled VISION on Disney+. Hampshire is reported to play E.D.I.T.H., an advanced artificial intelligence previously created by Tony Stark and which appeared in the film SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. This character will be an important part of the series, which is a spin-off of WANDAVISION.

The Vision series, likely to be titled VISION QUEST, will bring back Paul Bettany as Vision. The story is expected to focus on Vision's efforts to regain his memory and rediscover his humanity after the events that occurred in WANDAVISION. Although the complete plot is still under wraps, this project is set to be one of Marvel's major releases on Disney+ following AGATHA ALL ALONG.

In addition to Hampshire and Bettany, the series will also feature several other big names such as James Spader returning as Ultron, and Faran Tahir as Raza from the first Iron Man film. The presence of these old characters signals that Vision will delve deeper into Tony Stark's technological legacy and the conflicts surrounding AI in the Marvel universe.

1. TNia Miller as Jocasta, Ultron's 'Former' Creation

English actress TNia Miller also joins the series VISION as the character Jocasta. In the comic version, Jocasta is a robot created by Ultron to be his companion. However, she turns against her creator and joins the Avengers. She is known to be intelligent, strong, and possesses a deep motivation for revenge.

With the presence of Ultron and Jocasta in one series, it can be expected that there will be internal conflict among intelligent robots depicting themes of identity, freedom, and ethics in technology. The character Jocasta could be key in the development of Vision's story as he seeks to rediscover his identity.

2. Speculation on Vision's Child Character

Ruaridh Mollica also joins the cast as a character named Tucker. Although there has been no official confirmation, some fans speculate that Tucker is Tommy, the child of Vision and Wanda. This refers to the series AGATHA ALL ALONG, where Billy (Wanda's other child) resurrects his drowned brother using his magical powers.

If true, then the series VISION could expand the exploration of Vision and Wanda's family, as well as the impact of loss, the power of legacy, and life after death. The involvement of Vision's children could also pave the way for a young superhero team in the future MCU, such as the Young Avengers.

3. The Return of Old Enemies

In addition to Ultron, another returning villain is Raza, the leader of the Ten Rings group who once kidnapped Tony Stark in the film IRON MAN (2008). The return of this character indicates that the Vision series will delve into the roots of Stark Industries' technology and its connections with Tony's old enemies.

The presence of Raza and Ultron could broaden the story's scope to the conflict between Stark's created technology and those who wish to misuse it. This also opens the possibility of organizations like the Ten Rings returning to action in the post-Iron Man era.
