Sara Greenwood, the film production designer, said that the Barbie movie is depleting the world's pink paint stock. This can be seen in the trailer, where almost every scene is filled with pink, from the interior of the house to the props. Moreover, Barbie herself is synonymous with the color pink.

"The film has caused a shortage of pink paint worldwide. The construction of Barbie Land predominantly uses the color pink. The world is running out of pink." Sara revealed in an interview with Architectural. According to the Los Angeles Times, Greta Gerwig also mentioned that she maintains a childish theme in the film.

2. First Live Action Barbie Film

If you have been watching Barbie films in 3D animation, now you can watch it in live action format. The live action version of Barbie film has been planned since 2009, but it was only completed this year due to production house relocation.

The making of this film was announced in 2019 by Warner Bros. In that year, Margot Robbie auditioned for the main Barbie role. A year later, other cast members were also confirmed, including Ryan Gosling.
