Here are 7 Portraits of John Cena as the Guardian of Justice in 'PEACEMAKER'

PEACEMAKER originally was not from DC Comics but from Charlton Comics in the 1940s. But after DC saved Charlton Comics from bankruptcy in the 1980s, all Charlton characters, including Peacemaker, became owned by DC.

In this series, John Cena will be the lead actor and executive co-producer. Peacemaker will also be Cena's first TV series. Additionally, this will be his first major narrative TV role since he retired from professional wrestling.

Generally, PEACEMAKER does not possess superpowers, but like Batman, his wealth and resources are his superpowers. PEACEMAKER also always maintains peak physical condition, although he may not be Thor or Superman. PEACEMAKER also has access to advanced military-grade weaponry, although he has misused it in the past.

PEACEMAKER is actually depicted as someone with a mental disorder, for example when he was hunting down the terrorist Eclipso, PEACEMAKER crashed his helicopter into their camp. This caused PEACEMAKER and several accompanying US soldiers to die in the accident.

Christopher Smith is a diplomat who believes that peace is not the only way to achieve world peace. He is deeply committed to being a peacekeeper, so he will do whatever it takes to ensure, protect, and preserve it.

While John Cena portrays the Christopher Smith version of PEACEMAKER, there are actually two other versions of PEACEMAKER. One version is called Mitchell Black. The other version is an unnamed villain.

James Gunn actually wrote PEACEMAKER just for fun during lockdown, but then HBO max agreed to turn it into something real. He did this after completing THE SUICIDE SQUAD and waiting for revisions from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL.3.
