Who doesn't love Marvel series? Well, this time Marvel and Disney will present a new series featuring the superhero MOON KNIGHT. After its trailer was released recently, this series immediately trended on various social media platforms.

Being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MOON KNIGHT was first announced in 2019. This Disney Plus exclusive series will feature Star Wars and Dune alumni, Oscar Isaac, as a mercenary who becomes his own antihero after coincidentally encountering an Egyptian god. Quoted from Coolider, here is the official synopsis: "This series follows Steven Grant, a polite souvenir shop employee, who is plagued by blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies converge on them, they must navigate their complex identities while being thrust into a deadly mystery among powerful Egyptian gods."

Initially, MOON KNIGHT was introduced as a villain but the character proved popular enough for Marvel to turn him into a tough antihero. As his background expanded, in addition to being Steven Grant, MOON KNIGHT also has a secret identity as Marc Spector.

MOON KNIGHT, portrayed by Oscar Isaac, was previously a former Marine and CIA operative who became a mercenary. While working in Sudan, Spector was defeated in a battle with Raoul Bushman. Though he appeared dead, Spector resurrected at the foot of the statue of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu.
