Marvel and DC Films Will Flood 2021 and 2022

Kapanlagi.com - After Warner Bros previously postponed several of its films, such as DUNE to October 1, 2021, THE BATMAN to March 4, 2022, and THE FLASH to November 4, 2022, now it's Disney's turn to announce that all of its films that were supposed to be released in 2020 have been officially postponed to 2021. This was done due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic on cinemas worldwide. Now there are only 3 films that are still planned to be released this year, namely Warner Bros' WONDER WOMAN 1984, DreamWorks Studio's THE CROODS: A NEW AGE, and Pixar's SOUL.

This means that cinemas worldwide have hope to 'come back to life' because superhero-themed films will simultaneously appear next year. This will be a turning point due to the pandemic in 2020. The enthusiasm of the audience, which has been suppressed for so long, will be the trigger for the return of cinema life in 2021 and 2022. The trailer for MARVEL: BLACK WIDOW is evidence of the audience's enthusiasm for superhero films, with 65 million views in just 6 months!

1. Coming Back to Life

MARVEL: BLACK WIDOW is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021, which means it will be the first Marvel Studios film to be released after a 22-month 'fasting' period in theaters since SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. Not only that, 4 TV series owned by Marvel Studios will also start their production in mid-2021. MARVEL: HAWKEYE, MARVEL: Ms MARVEL, MARVEL: SHE-HULK, and MARVEL: MOON KNIGHT are the titles of the TV series that will be produced by Marvel Studios for Disney Plus and scheduled to air in 2022.

2. The Year of Superheroes

March 4, 2022: THE BATMAN (DC Films)
March 25, 2022: DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS (Marvel Studios)
May 6, 2022: BLACK PANTHER II (Marvel Studios)
July 8, 2022: CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 (Marvel Studios)
