Portrait of the Animation Film Screening 'LILO & STITCH' at Harapan Kita Mother and Child Hospital

Disney collaborated with Make-A-Wish Indonesia to hold a special screening of the classic animated film LILO & STITCH at Harapan Kita Mother and Child Hospital on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. More than 55 children along with their parents or guardians enjoyed the film screening and a surprise visit from Stitch.

Laughter and joy filled the pediatric ward as over 175 children enjoyed a surprise visit from Stitch, creating moments of happiness and excitement throughout the hospital.

This project is part of Disney's global efforts to provide new experiences for patients in hospitals, create positive memories, and bring happiness and comfort at times when it is most needed.

"We realize that there are families who may not always have the opportunity to enjoy movies together in theaters, which is why we want to provide a day full of happiness and joy to some of them by bringing the classic animated film 'Lilo & Stitch' directly to children undergoing treatment at Harapan Kita Hospital," she continued.

The first film LILO & STITCH was released in 2002. The film tells the story of a unique friendship between a little girl named Lilo and an alien named Stitch. Directed by Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois. A film of the same title will be released on May 23, 2025, as a live-action animated remake of the 2002 film.
