Happy news comes from actor Chand Kelvin who has officially become a father. His wife, Dea Sahirah, gave birth to their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at RSIA Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta. The little baby is named Ahmad Cadmael Dalsher Chandegra.

"Alhamdulillah, finally the long-awaited moment has arrived. Yesterday I was asked by reporters, 'when are you getting married?', 'when are you having kids?' and now I have a child. And yesterday, he was finally born on May 14, 2025, assisted by Dr. Reino," said Chand when met on Thursday (15/5/2025). Here are the details.

During the labor process, Chand initially hoped that his wife could give birth normally. However, in the last moments before the birth, the doctor decided to perform a cesarean for the safety of the mother and baby.

"Actually, at that time we wanted a normal delivery, right doc. My wife and I wanted it to be normal and several times Dhea and I attended yoga... The goal was to have a normal delivery. In the final days leading up to the birth, it became abnormal, assisted by Dr. Reino, so it was a cesarean, right doc?" he revealed.

Dr. Reino Raimbey, who assisted in the delivery process, explained the medical reasons behind the sudden decision. "That's why when we see there are medical reasons to end this pregnancy immediately... We finally decided to expedite ending this pregnancy medically," he explained.

The most emotional moment for Chand was when he first called the adhan for his newborn in the operating room. Although he trembled at the sight of his wife undergoing surgery, he fulfilled his duty as a father.

"Finally able to give birth and finally call the adhan... Just at 'Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar' when the second 'Allahu Akbar' my child looked like this. Like 'Oh this is my dad's voice'," he reminisced.
