During the examination process, Rayen also brought evidence that supports his report. He also presented two witnesses who are considered to have direct knowledge of the case, one of whom is his biological sibling.

"The examination and investigation are going smoothly, and we also appreciate the police for being able to continue to carry out their responsibilities as best as possible. We hope this process can proceed according to expectations that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law," said Rayen Pono at the Metro Jaya Police, Thursday (15/5/2025).

To the media crew, Rayen explained that he received eleven questions from the investigators. All of these questions were directed at the chronology of the incident and his personal understanding of Dhani's statements that were considered insulting. "There are about 11 questions," he said.

Rayen also revealed strong reasons why he chose to continue the legal process despite the apology statement from Ahmad Dhani's side that circulated in the media. According to him, the apology was not authentic and did not show genuine remorse.

"For us, the apology does not exist because an apology that comes from regret and guilt has never been there. So whatever apology exists in the media, we do not know, and we always agree that the apology has never existed," he explained.

Rayen believes that the opportunity to resolve this issue peacefully has actually been open since the beginning. However, due to the lack of good faith shown, he and his family decided to continue on the legal path until it is resolved.

"And the apology has never hindered the legal process. That is why we continue. The phase of apology for us has passed. It should have happened before this turmoil, before these steps were taken; the apology should have happened, but it never did. The apology should have happened, but it never did, which is why we decided to proceed with the legal process," Rayen emphasized.

When asked whether this legal action means closing the door on the possibility of a peaceful resolution, Rayen clarified. "There is no door closed, because the narrative of peace has never existed. So I am indeed doing what I believe I must do alongside my legal team, with my family, that our family name has been insulted, has been demeaned," he said.
