Robert Downey Jr Talks About the Fate of Iron-Man in the MCU, Will He Return?

As reported by ew.com, during his guest appearance on NBC'S Today, Wednesday (15/1), Robert Downey Jr talked about the fate of the most famous character. Where viewers saw the end of his adventures in AVENGERS: ENDGAME in 2019.

“A lot of people were really heartbroken when Iron-Man and Tony Stark left. Were you heartbroken when it finally arrived?, " asked Hoda Kotb, host of NBC'S Today, to Robert.

Upon hearing the question, Robert Downey Jr provided an answer regarding the fate of the most famous superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Now I'm middle-aged, honestly, you start to look back, and you'll be like, 'Oh, this is part of your journey and everything ends.' You know, everyone will go somewhere," Robert Downey Jr answered.

Curious, Kotb asked the question that fans all over the world want to know. "Is this the actual end?" Kotb asked.

"Because everyone opens the door and says, 'Maybe? Do you keep it open?' she asked again.

Casually, Robert Downey Jr gave the answer 'Maybe'. "That's possible, what's it called? The bargaining stage? I'm not sure. Are we in the bargaining stage now?" Robert Downey Jr joked.

3. Want to Keep Iron-Man Classy

Furthermore, Robert Downey Jr. said that he felt very happy to be able to play as Iron-Man, and he admitted that he was very fortunate.

However, there is one thing he himself has not yet said, whether Iron-Man will return to action or not. This 54-year-old actor only mentioned that he wants to make the end of Iron-Man remain classy.

"I am very happy, it's just that, I ended up where I belong. I am very fortunate, I am not the type of person who... I want to keep it classy. We'll see later." he explained.
