List of Oscar 2020 Nominations, 'JOKER' Leads with 11 Nominations

Kapanlagi.com - The prestigious award for filmmakers, the Academy Award or the Oscars, will be held this year. Through its official website, the Oscars 2020 has announced a series of film titles that have been nominated in various categories this year.

This year, the Oscars have also added a number of consideration categories. Quoting from the official Oscars website on Monday (1/13/2020), there are at least nine consideration categories that will be contested by filmmakers from various countries. The nine categories are Documentary Feature, Documentary Short Subject, International Feature Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Music (Original Score), Music (Original Song), Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, and Visual Effects.

1. Most Nominations

According to the New York Times, JOKER received the most nominations in various categories. The film directed by Tod Phillips received 11 nominations, including the category of Best Picture.

Not only JOKER, but also other films like THE IRISHMAN, 1917, and PARASITE received more than one nomination in various categories.
