At that time, the idea of working together came up in their minds. Unexpectedly, GI JOE: SNAKE EYES brought them together. "At that time, we had a fun conversation about working together. And then it actually happened," added Iko.
In addition to working with Henry Golding, this film also gave Iko his first shooting experience in Japan. "At that time, there was no casting or audition. Of course, I felt happy. And it was also challenging because it was my first time shooting in Japan and there were Japanese cultural elements," he said.
Being involved in this film project, Iko admitted that he is happy. Moreover, he received a lot of support from fans in Indonesia. "I am very happy. And I am grateful because I am constantly supported by fans from Indonesia when I act in international films as well as Indonesian films. It makes me grateful," he said.
