'THE BOSS BABY 2' Forced to Postpone Until September 2021

Kapanlagi.com - The collaboration film between DreamWorks and Universal Pictures titled THE BOSS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS seems to need time to rest. Universal Pictures announced that the film has postponed its release date in theaters. Initially, they had set it for March 26, 2021, but had to postpone it to September 17, 2021. Not only that, Hollywood Studios continue to rearrange the schedule of films to be released in theaters.

This is certainly due to the pandemic that has been going on since last year, which has caused many films to be forced to be postponed. Not only delays, but it has also resulted in the closure of theaters and production delays. It's no wonder that many production houses have to really brainstorm for the continuity of their films.

THE BOSS BABY 2 will reunite director Tom McGrath and voice actor Alec Baldwin. Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel will also return to play their roles as the parents of Ted and Tim. In addition, there will be newcomers to voice in the film, including James Mardsen, Eva Longoria, Ariana Greenblatt, Amy Sedaris, and Jeff Goldblum.

In this second sequel, Tim and Theodore Templeton, or commonly known as Ted, will reunite in this film. It is told that they have grown up and adjusted to their new lives. In the midst of their busy lives, Ted misses being The Baby Boss. This makes him plan to use some baby formulas to become The Baby Boss again. Meanwhile, Tim already has a baby girl and is surprised to find out that his daughter, Tina, is a secret agent from BabyCorp sent to capture criminals.
Finally, Tim, Ted, and Tina embark on a journey to help Tina complete her mission. This sequel of THE BABY BOSS 2 will definitely bring laughter to the audience. Not to forget, it will also include the never-ending quarrels between Tim and Ted.

THE BOSS BABY first premiered on March 31, 2017. This first sequel was able to achieve a profit of Rp 4.7 trillion. This film even surpassed the earnings of SMURF: THE LOST VILLAGE which only earned around Rp 2.7 trillion. This film is adapted from a picture book by Marla Frazee with the same title.
