WOLF MAN managed to attract the attention of horror movie fans because it involved Ryan Gosling (known from the films BARBIE and LA LA LAND) as well as director Derek Cianfrance (SOUND OF METAL and BLUE VALENTINE). However, unfortunately, both withdrew from the project in 2023.
After the departure of Ryan Gosling and Derek Cianfrance, the project is finally under the direction of director Leigh Whannell, who is known for THE INVISIBLE MAN (2020). The actors who will now star in this film include Christopher Abbott as Blake, Julia Garner as Charlotte, Matilda Firth as Ginger, as well as Sam Jaeger, Ben Prendergast, and Benedict Hardie.
Despite the changes in the production team, WOLF MAN is still scheduled for release on January 17, 2025. With an intriguing premise, experienced horror director, and an approaching release date, this film is one to look forward to.
