BTS received an invitation to visit the Blue House before their diplomatic trip abroad with President Moon Jae In. They will accompany the president as special envoys at the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York. In July, BTS was appointed as the Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture by South Korean President, Moon Jae In.
With this prestigious title, BTS will accompany President Moon to the UNGA. On this occasion, they will deliver words of comfort and hope to the youth of the world.
As known, this is not the first time BTS has had the opportunity to attend the UNGA. In 2018, BTS attended the UNGA for the first time as special guests for UNICEF.
In this visit to the Blue House, the seven handsome idols received appointment letters directly from President Moon.
BTS not only received appointment letters stamped by the President, but also diplomatic passports complete with a pen as a sign of respect.
According to the implementation of the Decree of the Korean Passport Law, this diplomatic passport is only given to the president, special envoys, government members, and high-ranking officials only.
In addition to their achievements, BTS's appearance when visiting the Blue House also caught attention. The seven members looked handsome in suits with neatly styled hair.
Although their faces were covered with masks, the seven BTS members looked many times more dignified and authoritative when meeting President Moon Jae In in person.
They looked so dignified that BTS, who walked behind President Moon, could cause misunderstandings. Like the president's bodyguards, this photo of BTS looks like a screenshot from a political-themed drama.
BTS's journey with President Moon is reported to be conducted in secret because official details about their schedule have not been released.
