On January 8, 2024, the Seoul Suseo Police Department revealed that Kim Jeong Hoon is currently being investigated for driving under the influence case.
According to the police, the actor's car collided with a vehicle in front of him on December 29, 2023, at 3 a.m. local time.
Kim Jeong Hoon allegedly refused when the police at the scene asked him to take a breathalyzer test or a blood alcohol level test through breath.
The police reportedly asked Kim Jeong Hoon to take the test three times separately. After receiving refusal from the actor, the police arrested him.
Furthermore, the police stated that they are investigating the reasons why Kim Jeong Hoon refused to undergo the test and the incident that caused the accident.
Meanwhile, Kim Jeong Hoon, who is a member of the first-generation idol group UN, will hold a concert in Japan on January 19-20, 2024.
