The name Jaejoong became the center of attention when he "confirmed" that he was infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19). Through his personal Instagram account, JYJ member stated that he was being treated at the hospital.

Shortly after, Jaejoong sparked another discussion when he revealed that it was just an April Fool's joke. Japanese and Korean netizens who didn't find Jaejoong's joke funny criticized him harshly, leading to the cancellation of all his activities in Japan.

2. Jessica Jung

When Jessica Jung was rumored to debut solo in South Korea in 2016, many netizens welcomed her with negative comments. They criticized Jessica for lying about her career decision after leaving Girls Generation and planning to make a comeback in Korea.

Netizens couldn't hide their disappointment on various South Korean community forums. "I initially supported her because I thought she was finally doing what she really wanted... and now she's like this, haha. Are you mocking the public?" wrote one netizen.

In 2015, there were reports of an incident between actress Lee Tae Im and Yewon. It was reported that Yewon spoke informally to Lee Tae Im, causing the star of the drama DON'T HESITATE to curse at Yewon.

Yewon initially denied the rumors of her speaking informally to Lee Tae Im but faced criticism after a video of the incident leaked. The video revealed that Yewon did indeed speak informally to Lee Tae Im.

4. Sunye (former member of Wonder Girls)

Sunye announced that she would marry her Korean-Canadian mixed-race husband, James Park, in 2012. Sunye then decided to leave Wonder Girls before her contract ended and shared her plans to live in Canada for some time.

Many netizens criticized Sunye for not fulfilling her contract. Netizens became even more upset when it was revealed that Sunye signed a contract with an entertainment company to return as a celebrity. This was because many believed that Sunye would spend her life outside of the entertainment industry.
