This series is directed by Park Shin-woo, known for his work on It's Okay to Not Be Okay and Don't Dare to Dream, and written by Jung Hyun-jung who was involved in Romance Is a Bonus Book. The main cast not only features popular actors and actresses, but also talented newcomers.

For Kim Ji-won and Han Ji-eun, the director and screenwriter were the reasons for choosing their roles. Director Park Shin-woo praised each actor and commented, "I'm curious about So Joo-yeon's future. She is an interesting and enjoyable actress."

Park Shin-woo also revealed that he decided to cast Ryu Gyeong-soo in an audition after one or two minutes. There seems to be a lot to look forward to from this cohesive team!

Director Park Shin-woo commented, "I don't see too much difference with a shorter runtime." This is also agreed upon by Kim Ji-won who said, "I feel that this drama will make us even more curious with its short duration."

Kim Ji-won also commented on how time flies quickly when reading this enjoyable script. Of course, we are even more excited to find out the short yet sweet storyline in Lovestruck in the City.

Kim Min-seok shares about the unique aspect of Lovestruck in the City, "The interviews within the drama make it feel like a documentary. I think this drama is very unique and enjoyable."

Park Shin-woo also mentioned that he took a different approach in directing this series, trying to make it resemble a variety show director. Through individual interviews, viewers can see how each character has their own perspective and opinions.

Director Park Shin-woo explained, "I hope viewers can see their relationships, both past and present, through three different relationships. I think viewers will be able to see themselves as well as the partners they hope for in the various characters in this series."

Joo-yeon also added, "There are many scenes that resemble real-life relationship situations, so I felt familiar shooting with Min-seok." Despite having different characters, you can definitely find relatable aspects in them.

Park Shin-woo revealed the closeness between Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won, where Ji Chang-wook said that Kim Ji-won is a reliable person since they first met. Meanwhile, So Joo-yeon talked about how she and Kim Min-seok contacted each other to be able to portray the right chemistry in depicting a long-term relationship.

Not only a couple in love, you can also look forward to the chemistry between Ji Chang-wook and Kim Min-seok who play as cousins. Kim Min-seok said, "Ji Chang-wook and I are indeed close in real life, so it will be easier to show our chemistry as siblings."
