The father said that his mother was pregnant with Park Bo Gum at an old age. The mother admitted that she didn't know she was pregnant and was still taking some medication to treat her illness.

"We were worried about giving birth to a disabled child (because of the medications), so we tried to abort the baby. But it seems that it was not God's will. In the end, she gave birth to a healthy boy," said the father as quoted from Koreaboo.

2. Sick at Birth

However, problems arose again when the mother gave birth to Park Bo Gum. The child was affected by a disease at that time and was expected to die.

"For several days, there was no improvement, and the baby slowly started to look like a corpse, and the doctor kept saying negative things that disappointed us," he added.

Fortunately, Park Bo Gum was saved from the tragedy. He was immediately taken to a pastor and given a blessing, and then declared healed.
