Yoo Seung Ho made his debut as an actor in 2000 in a drama titled DADDY FISH and gained wide recognition after collaborating with IU in the charity show Love Request. In his 21-year career as an actor, he has won 11 out of 20 awards. In this drama, Yoo Seung Ho will play the main male character named Nam Young and will co-star with Lee Hye Ri.

Lee Hye Ri is a former member of Girl's Day under the management of Dream T Entertainment, which disbanded in 2019 after nearly 9 years in the K-Pop industry. Hye Ri's solo career as an actress began in 2012 when she debuted in the SBS weekend drama TASTY LIFE.

Hye Ri is widely known in the acting world because her name skyrocketed in 2015 after she starred in the famous drama REPLY 1988 as the female lead. Because of that, Hyeri eventually started a relationship with actor and former co-star Ryu Jun Yeol, whom she met on the set of Reply 1988. They fell in love on set and started dating at the end of 2016.

The director of the drama with a final episode rating of 15.8 DOCTOR PRISONER will work on this drama together with writer Kim Joo Hee. Hwang In Hyuk is a skilled director who successfully brought the drama to a satisfying rating at the end of 2019. Mina is also known as one of the members of the girl group I.O.I formed by Mnet in the show Produce 101 season 1. She made her acting debut in the 2017 drama 20th Century Boy and Girl. A year later, she was entrusted with the lead role in the drama series DOKGO REWIND in 2018. She also often plays supporting roles in dramas such as HOTEL DEL LUNA and MY ROOMMATE IS A GUMIHO with Hye Ri.

This time, Mina will play the lead female role as a single daughter from a noble family who is defined as a pure Joseon girl named Han Ae Jin. She later breaks the Joseon rules and is destined to meet Lee Pyo, who is a rebellious prince.

Byeon Woo Seok will also star in this drama and take on the role of Lee Pyo, a rebellious prince who hides his identity to break the rules about alcoholic beverages. Byeon Woo Seok made his debut in 2016 with the drama DEAR MY FRIENDS. He also starred in dramas such as LIVE UP TO YOUR NAME, OFFICE WATCH 3, and FLOWER CREW: JOSEON MARRIAGE AGENCY. Most recently, he starred in the tvN 2020 drama RECORD OF YOUTH with lead actors Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam. This drama is also known as WHEN FLOWERS BLOOM, I THINK OF THE MOON and is set during the strictest period of the Joseon era when laws prohibiting alcohol were made. This is contrary to the lives of some of the main characters who go against these rules.

Nam Young (played by Yoo Seung Ho) is an Inspector responsible for controlling alcohol smuggling. He leaves his hometown to achieve fame in Hanyang and restore his family's status. He is a handsome, intelligent, and hardworking man who is admired by local women, but he is only interested in reading books. However, he suffers because of enforcing the prohibition and the appearance of three people who try to break it.

Hyeri, who transforms into a poor noblewoman named Kang Ro Seo, starts making and smuggling alcohol to pay off her mother's medicine debt and her brother's books. Hyeri will have a romantic relationship with Yoo Seung Ho, with their characters having contrasting backgrounds.

Next is the rebellious crown prince Lee Pyo (played by Byeon Woo Seok), who enjoys climbing palace walls to find alcohol. Lastly, there is Ahn Ye Jin, played by Mina, who decides to leave her good girl image and infiltrate to find alcohol. They met accidentally in a liquor warehouse. With different backgrounds, they will share hidden secrets with each other. They meet in secret to discover hidden alcohol stash with the risk of death.
