Big Hit Entertainment Will Release an Educational Video Series to Learn Korean Language with BTS

Kapanlagi.com - BTS will venture into a new field, which is the education of the Korean language. On March 23, 2020, Big Hit Entertainment officially announced that BTS will release a series of short videos to help fans learn the Korean language.

The video series titled Learn Korean Language with BTS will use videos from the variety show Run BTS! and other BTS online content (such as Bangtan Bomb videos and BTS Episodes) to teach vocabulary and terms commonly used by BTS members to fans. Each video will be 3 minutes long and will contain short lessons on phrases and sentence structures in the Korean language.

These videos will be released for free through the Big Hit fan community app, Weverse, starting from March 24, 2020 at 2 PM Korean time. Big Hit Entertainment will directly release 3 episodes during the premiere with a total of 30 episodes. In realizing this video series, Big Hit Entertainment collaborated with parties from the Korean education world.

"Learn Korean with BTS was created with the help of researchers from the Korean Language Contents Institute (KOLCI) and foreign language professors from Hankuk University," said the BTS agency as reported by Soompi.

Big Hit Entertainment stated that the need for Korean language education has drastically increased along with the rising popularity of K-Pop and other Korean cultural content worldwide. With the release of the Learn Korean with BTS video, Big Hit Entertainment hopes that international fans can become closer to BTS.

"Through this Korean language learning video, we hope that global fans can become more connected with the music created by our artists and enjoy various types of content," concluded Big Hit Entertainment.
