The presence of these artists is enthusiastically welcomed by fans, but it cannot be denied that the ticket prices offered are quite draining on the wallet.

The prices of K-Pop concert tickets in Indonesia currently range from Rp1.3 million to Rp4.5 million, depending on the artist and seating category. This price does not include taxes and additional service fees that are usually charged by ticket sales platforms.

The weakening of the rupiah plays a significant role in the increase in ticket prices. Just imagine, the fees for international artists and their management team are paid in dollars. When the rupiah weakens, the costs incurred by promoters automatically become larger.

Similarly, logistics costs such as airfare, hotel accommodation, local transportation, as well as stage equipment and technology, many of which must be imported and paid for in dollars. All of this causes the total production costs of concerts to soar.

In addition to exchange rate factors, the high ticket prices are also due to the high demand from fans, large concert production costs (such as lighting, sound systems, visual effects), as well as licensing fees and entertainment taxes in Indonesia.
