The alleged sexual harassment case involving Jisoo BLACKPINK's brother has once again come under public scrutiny since April 2026. A man named Kim Jung Hoon is suspected of being involved in illegal actions that triggered reports from the victim and a police investigation in Seoul.

A user of the anonymous platform Blind, which serves as a space for workers to share their experiences about their workplaces, claimed to have been secretly recorded during intimate relations, and stated that the victims are not just one person.
The post was quickly deleted, but went viral again after new reports emerged in April 2026. The public began to connect the identity of the perpetrator with Kim Jung Hoon.
The case became more serious after a female streamer reported to the police. She claimed she was invited to dinner, then taken to the perpetrator's house and experienced physical contact without consent.
The victim also accused of attempted sexual assault and threats. On April 16, a person referred to as "A" was secured by the police as a follow-up to the report made by the female streamer.
After the media reported that the perpetrator has the surname Kim, along with evidence and details of the ongoing case, the public is increasingly convinced that the person "A" who was arrested is Kim Jung Hoon.
A woman who claims to be Kim Jung Hoon's wife also spoke out. She uploaded handwritten notes and photo evidence, accusing him of violence and excessive control within the household.
The woman even claims that Kim Jung Hoon abused his first wife, leading to the end of their marriage with a divorce.
Amid the controversy, Jisoo's name has also been dragged into it. However, both victims emphasize that the idol is not involved and should not be blamed for her brother's actions.
On April 17, prosecutors in Seoul rejected the arrest warrant because the evidence was deemed not strong enough. However, if new evidence emerges, this case is predicted to continue.
