Controversial Tribute Documentary for Sulli 'Docuplex' Finally Deleted

Not only has it caused conflicts among Sulli's family and friends, but it has also triggered public ridicule towards her ex-boyfriend, Choiza.

Due to the significant issues surrounding the late Sulli that were brought up, the public began to question whether this documentary film was the right move. Several days after its release, it was reported that the pay-per-view video and the re-airing of episodes focusing on the former fx member were no longer available. The official MBC YouTube channel also deleted clips from those episodes.

According to Koreaboo, MBC also took action regarding the circulating video online and on social media. This step was taken after considering the consequences of the event, one of which was the numerous hateful comments and criticisms flooding Choiza's social media.

Most of the comments from netizens blamed Choiza for Sulli's death. One of them expressed disappointment because the Dynamic Duo member continued to profit from the song Eat Pray Love even after Sulli passed away.

The song Eat Pray Love itself was released shortly after Choiza's relationship with Sulli was confirmed. Many netizens believed that the lyrics of the song hinted at their intimate relationship.

2. PD Speaks Out

PD Docuplex, which airs every Thursday at 10:40 PM KST, Lee Hyun Mo, also spoke out about the recent controversy. In an interview through a phone call with XSports News, he revealed that all of this is just a big misunderstanding.

"It is a big misunderstanding to solely blame Choiza for the death of the late Sulli. I hope there will be no more negative stories about Choiza," said PD Docuplex.
