Kapanlagi.com - According to an exclusive report from MBC Newsdesk, two male K-Pop idols in their 30s who are members of the same group are currently being investigated by the Metropolitan Incheon Police Agency's investigative unit. It has been revealed that both of them engaged in baccarat gambling with amounts up to 50 million won (approximately Rp 628.4 million) during their trips to casinos in the Philippines between 2016 and 2018.
Earlier this week, the police summoned both idols for questioning and to gather details about their gambling activities. One of them has already been confirmed to be active on online gambling sites.
During the investigation process, both idols stated that they did not fly from Korea to the Philippines to gamble. Instead, they claimed that they accidentally engaged in gambling while they were in the Philippines.

The instructions provided by MBC are clear enough to strongly suggest who the idol in question is. It is rumored that both of these idols are more active and popular in Japan, not only as singers but also as actors. In fact, their group has achieved high rankings on the Oricon charts multiple times.
Furthermore, it is mentioned that one of them tested positive for the Corona virus earlier this year after coming into contact with an adult entertainment worker. The instructions provided by MBC point towards Supernova because one of their members, Yoonhak, tested positive in April and was found to have visited an adult entertainment venue.
The representatives from the idol agency had little to comment when asked about this illegal gambling case. "It's not something I know about. They said our group's personnel are XX and XX? I guess I have to check on them too," said the agency representative as quoted by Koreaboo.
The investigation into this illegal gambling case is still ongoing. Currently, the police are investigating if there are other individuals involved in the illegal gambling.
