As reported by Koreaboo, this anonymous netizen did not directly mention Seulgi's name, but gave clues that they graduated from SOPA in 2013 and the initials of the name KSG in Hangul matched Seulgi's name (Kang Seulgi). They also stated that the idol is under "S" Entertainment.

Furthermore, a netizen using the account @WeHKJPu9kOtkWzA uploaded a photo of a package containing medications. According to their confession, they use these medications to treat depression caused by the trauma of bullying they experienced during school.

In addition, they also uploaded a photo claimed to be themselves when they graduated from SOPA in 2013. However, the face of the SOPA student in the photo is covered by an emoji.

Due to baseless accusations directed at Seulgi, Reveluv immediately verified whether the claims were true or not. Like detectives, they sniffed out suspicious images and easily proved the claims wrong.

Firstly, although it is true that Seulgi attended SOPA and graduated in 2013, this Red Velvet member did not attend school at the same time as claimed by the netizen. Image searches showed that the photo used by the anonymous netizen was taken from Instagram and uploaded in February 2019. At that time, Seulgi had already been active as a K-Pop idol for 5 years.

Furthermore, the photo of the medication claimed to be used for depression by the anonymous netizen is not used for treating depression at all. The pills in the photo belong to the Erdosteine group, which is used to treat bronchitis.
