The drama THE WORST OF EVIL is set in Seoul in the 1990s, and it tells the story of Park Junmo (Ji Chang Wook), who has built a stable life for himself by becoming a village police officer and marrying his lover. However, he is recruited to infiltrate a group of gangsters who distribute a new illegal drug called "Gangnam Crystal" in nightclubs in Seoul. He disguises himself as Kwon Seungho and is tasked with gathering evidence to bring down the gang from within.
In his undercover work, Junmo will work for Jung Gicheul (Wi Ha Jun), the leader of the gang who will do anything for the success of his gang. Jung Gicheul is cold-hearted and always calculates everything in his life. Suddenly, he is faced with an unexpected situation when he is reunited with his first love, Yu Euijeong.
Yu Euijeong (Lim Semi) herself is an elite police officer from the security department and is the wife of Park Junmo. When she learns that her husband has been assigned to infiltrate a dangerous gang, Yu Euijeong decides to get involved in the investigation conducted by Park Junmo. Little does she know that her choice will reunite her with a man from her past.

This series tells the story of imperfect people who find themselves in conflict and turmoil as they navigate various events, not just a crime series about investigating illegal drugs. ”

THE WORST OF EVIL stars Ji Changwook, Wi Hajun, and Lim Semi, directed by Han Dongwook and written by Jang Minseok. This 12-episode series will premiere with three episodes, followed by two episodes each week, and end with three episodes at once.
