Fantasy Romance and Melodrama 'The King: Eternal Monarch', Must be Watched from the First Episode!

This fantasy romance series tells the story of two parallel worlds, Korea as a constitutional monarchy and a more modern Korea. Lee Min Ho plays Emperor Lee Gon, while Kim Go Eun plays detective Jung Tae-eul.

In the press conference session, the actors discussed the unique concept of parallel worlds in The King: Eternal Monarch. Lee Min-ho commented that he was initially confused.

"When I first read the script for this series, there were moments where I was confused about which parallel world was being referred to. But I understood much better when I saw it on the screen. I also read many math books and listened to teachings from physicists," said Lee Min Ho.

Woo Doo Hwan explained how he acted believing that parallel worlds really exist. Lee Jung Jin also commented that The King: Eternal Monarch will be easier to understand as the story progresses.

As the two main actors, Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun have also shown remarkable chemistry. The actor even praised his co-star.

"Kim Go Eun's strength is how the expression in her eyes can change from sharp to innocent in an instant. Her spectrum in other projects like CHINATOWN and Goblin is very wide, and I understand why when I see her expression," said Lee Min Ho.

2. Kim Go Eun Praises Lee Min Ho as Well

Not to be outdone, Kim Go Eun also praised Lee Min Ho. She feels comfortable working with Lee Min Ho, who has been in the acting industry longer.

"He is my senior, but he has a very good personality. There is always awkwardness at the beginning of every project, but I didn't feel that. I think we quickly became close to each other, and I received a lot of guidance and attention from him," said Kim Go Eun.

At the end of the press conference, the stars promised to present an interesting story. Jung Eun Chae, who portrays the prime minister character, hopes the audience will watch from the first episode.

Kim Go Eun agrees and adds that this drama will become more exciting in each episode. But it's really necessary to watch from the beginning.
