Funny Lee Seung Gi Shares About Receiving a Gold-Colored Pajama as a Gift from Jasper Liu, Refuses to Wear It but Promises to Upload on IG When 'TWOGETHER' is Released

In the press conference held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 with media from the Asia Pacific region, Lee Seung Gi and Jasper Liu revealed what impressed them and how they felt about each other from the beginning of their meeting until the end of filming.

The filming, which took place last autumn, brought these two guys from different countries with different languages and cultures together. They were asked about when they finally realized that they felt comfortable with each other after meeting for a while. So what was their answer?

1. Given a Gold Colored Pajama as a Gift

Lee Seung Gi, who has previously appeared on Korean variety shows, is experiencing his first time shooting with someone from a different country, culture, and language. He revealed many new things that he encountered when he was with Jasper Liu. It was quite surprising for him to see Jasper wearing pajamas while sleeping. He thought this was quite different from the culture in Korea.

"I don't know if this culture is different in every country. In Korea, we don't wear pajamas on variety shows. Some do, but for prince-style pajamas like the ones Jasper Liu wore, I thought we were different," he said.

However, little did he know, that moment became the beginning of the closeness between the actor who played in VAGABOND and the Taiwanese actor. Lee Seung Gi also shared how he felt when he was given pajamas as a gift by his partner.

"The moment we felt close was when we were shooting in Nepal, Jasper gave me pajamas that were similar but in a different color as a gift. That moment, I felt like we were one. We were close," Seung Gi explained.

2. Protest Because of Color

Not unlike Seung Gi, Jasper also said that he finally felt close to Seung Gi when the actor of the same age wore the pajamas he gave. "I feel close to Lee Seung Gi when he wears my gift," Jasper said jokingly.

"The pajama you gave me is gold!" Seung Gi said. "The color of the pajamas is navy, while mine is gold. I can't even wear it in Korea," he continued.

"That's not gold, it's champagne gold. So wear it at home, when there's no one around, and feel like a king," Jasper replied.

Seung Gi finally promised to wear the pajamas given by Jasper when TWOGETHER is released on June 26 and upload it on Instagram as suggested by the MC during the press conference held on June 23, 2020.

"Okay, I will do it. I don't need any spotlight when wearing it," he joked.
