AOT is not entirely free from controversy. Some criticisms quoted from Polygon and Vice highlight the fact that this anime depicts fascism, racially-based conspiracy theories, and the remilitarization of Japan are present in the theme of ATTACK ON TITAN.
Part 2 of the final season of ATTACK ON TITAN will continue what was left in Part 1 of Season 4. Previously, Part 1 ended with the surviving Marley military forces descending from the sky in the Shiganshina District to capture or kill Eren. The first half of the final season features Eren forming a new group ready to declare war against Marley and Eldia.
The final season takes a darker turn after Eren Yeager kills innocent civilians in an attack against the Marley nation. This incident has placed him in a strange position, with many now considering the former hero as an enemy.
While ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 4 PART 2 will be aired in Japan on NHK TV channel, this series will also be internationally broadcasted on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu.
Although there is still no information on how many episodes in part 2, the release date for ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 4 PART 2 is Sunday, January 9, 2022.
