The marriage between Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar is on the rocks after Kimberly filed for divorce against the father of her children in the Central Jakarta Religious Court.
Irvina Zainal, who is Kimberly's mother, said that she rarely communicates with her son-in-law. Therefore, she fully entrusts the divorce matter to Kimberly.
"I rarely communicate, I'm just busy. As for communication with Edward, it's solely between Kimberly and him. I don't want to deal with it, I only take care of my grandchildren," she said when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (18/7/2024).
Irvina asserts that her child's current condition is fine. In fact, Irvana mentioned that Kimberly is not overly concerned about her household problems.
"Kim is doing well, thank God. What is there to be concerned about? It seems like there's none," she said.
Currently, Kimberly is busy with her work in the entertainment industry. One of them is promoting her latest film titled BANGSAL ISOLASI, which will be released in local cinemas soon.
"Currently, Kim is busy with the film, and then there's another film and series coming up, God willing," she concluded.
As a reminder, Kimberly Ryder filed for divorce from Edward Akbar at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. The lawsuit has been registered with the number 916/Pdtg/2024/PAJP.
Meanwhile, the first hearing of Kimberly and Edward's divorce will take place on July 24, 2024 at the Central Jakarta Religious Court. And apparently, Kimberly also reported Edward Akbar for alleged car embezzlement made at the South Jakarta Metro Police.
